It can be frustrating to shop in a universe where it seems like everything is a strapless ball-gown, if a strapless ball-gown isn’t going to be what flatters your boobs, or arms, or whatever you need flattered. Wear your wedding day undergarments to the salon

If you’re planning on wearing Spanx, a special bra, or a long line corset on your wedding day, go to the salon with them on, advises Sabatino. “Support garments can really change the shape of your body quite a bit, so make sure you bring them to your fittings if you’re planning on wearing them on your wedding day.”

Be confident!

While shopping for a wedding dress, don’t be timid. Tell the consultant exactly what you want, and don’t let them pressure you into buying a style you’re not in love with, no matter how flattering it is. The right dress should make you feel comfortable in your own skin. It’s just as important to know what your dislikes are as it is to find out what you love. Stay true to yourself and don’t be afraid to seek advice from family and friends! — Marisa Russo.
